NWFL: Victory over Heartland Queens boost for playoff Edo Queens’ target – Aduku

Edo Queens head coach, Moses Aduku, has expressed satisfaction with his team’s away win over Heartland Queens in Owerri.

Kafayat Mafisere scored the decisive goal that earned Edo Queens the maximum points in the game.

Aduku said that the victory will help his team’s chances of securing a place in the playoffs.

The experienced tactician acknowledged his team struggled in the game due to the playing surface at the Dan Anyiam Stadium.

“Three points is very important at this stage because we have three teams contesting for the first position in their group,” Aduku told Puyaka after the game.

“The turf didn’t allow us to play but all the same we utilised our opportunity, I really commended Heartland Queens for their improvement in the league.”

“If they continue with their improved performance they can be a contender as well.”
