Foundation distributes Sallah packages to 1,000 families in Niger

In a demonstration of sustained humanitarian outreach, Future Pathways Foundation has distributed Sallah food packages to over 1,000 families across Niger State.

The intervention, led by the foundation’s founder, Saadatu Sani Musa, targeted households affected by rising living costs and economic uncertainty.

Each beneficiary received a package containing 25kg of rice, 25kg of beans, and 25kg of millet, aimed at supporting families during the Sallah period and beyond.

The foundation said the initiative forms part of a broader statewide programme designed to reach vulnerable populations and cushion the impact of economic hardship.

Speaking during the distribution, Musa reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to sustained social support, particularly during significant cultural celebrations.

“This initiative reflects our continued effort to ease hardship and promote shared prosperity within communities across Niger State. Sallah is a time of compassion, and we are committed to ensuring that more families celebrate with dignity,” she said.

She added that the outreach is part of a long-term strategy focused on improving community welfare rather than a one-off intervention.

Beneficiaries described the support as timely, noting it would ease the burden of providing for their households amid prevailing economic challenges.

Observers noted that such initiatives remain critical in strengthening informal safety nets and fostering community solidarity in the face of rising food prices and inflation.

The foundation has continued to expand its humanitarian activities across the state, building a reputation for consistent food support and targeted assistance to vulnerable groups.
