Ado-Odo/Ota residents laud Senator Yayi over transformational projects.

Residents of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area have commended the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, for facilitating several developmental projects across the council area.

The projects, which span infrastructure, education, healthcare and economic development, were described by residents as timely and impactful, with many noting that they had improved access to essential services and boosted socio-economic activities.

Among the key interventions are the construction and rehabilitation of roads in Gasline-Ijoko, Temidire-Sango Ota, and Oke Ore. In the education sector, modern classroom blocks were delivered to Sango High School and Oke Ore Grammar School to create a more conducive learning environment.

On healthcare, the senator facilitated a Primary Health Centre in Atan, while an ultra-modern market was constructed in Agbara to strengthen commercial activities and support local traders.

Speaking on the interventions, some residents said the projects had eased transportation challenges, improved healthcare delivery, and provided better facilities for teaching and learning.

“We are grateful for what Senator YAYI has done. The roads are better, our children now learn in decent classrooms, and we have a health centre close to us. These are the things that touch lives directly,” one resident in Sango Ota said.

Another trader at the Agbara market noted that the new market structure had created a safer and more organised space for business, adding that commercial activities in the area had picked up since its completion.

Beneficiaries praised the lawmaker for what they called his commitment to grassroots development and for consistently delivering people-oriented projects across Ogun West.

As political activities ahead of the 2027 governorship election begin to take shape, some residents offered prayers for the senator, expressing hope that his vision for a greater Ogun State would continue to gain support.

The projects, they said, had further reinforced Adeola’s reputation as a leader focused on infrastructure development, community empowerment and the overall advancement of the state.
