2027: Why is Peter Obi, who finished third in 2023, attacked from all directions, what really happened? – Pat Utomi

A professor of political economy, Pat Utomi, has questioned why former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, who finished third in the 2023 presidential election, continues to attract hostility from all directions.
Utomi raised the question in a post on his verified X handle on Saturday.
“There is no convincing explanation for why a candidate who finished third in the 2023 presidential election attracts this level of hostility from all directions.
“The intensity of the attacks raises questions that Nigerians deserve answers to. Perhaps one day, we will finally understand what really happened in 2023,” Utomi wrote.
Meanwhile, Utomi did not name any particular person or party for attacking the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate.
Recall that Edo North Senator Adams Oshiomhole has launched heavy attacks on Obi during All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential campaign rallies in Ekiti and Akwa-Ibom States.
Similarly, Vice President Kashim Shettima, on Friday in Akwa-Ibom State, said Obi has messed up his presidential ambition with lies.
President Bola Tinubu, on his part, blasted Obi, saying he ran away from erosion in Anambra State when he (Tinubu) confronted the Atlantic Ocean in Lagos.
