The Stallion Circle, Epe, empowers indigent students with UTME forms

As part of its commitment to contribute to the upliftment of the educational standards of Epe sons and daughters, the Stallion Circle, Epe is enabling some students to partake in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, (UTME).
The club had during the inauguration of the new executive council on January 27 announced its commitment to instituting an education endowment that will provide scholarships, purchase UTME and GCE forms for indigent students
.
To achieve this, it chose beneficiaries from different schools and quarters of the town.
A statement issued by the club’s Chief Scribe, Mr Nuhman Edu stated that to ensure credibility, a committee headed by Mr Dayo Omitaomu was set up, which included teachers in Epe, to screen and nominate worthy beneficiaries who could not afford the N8,000 fee for the form.
He added that the club hopes to continue to look towards doing such similar interventions while also praying for the success of the students in the forthcoming examinations.
