Sanwo -Olu promises justice over killing of sound engineer

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has promised justice ovér a mob attack in which a sound engineer, David Sunday, was killed in Lekki area of the state.

Sanwo-Olu in a statement issued by his Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, condemned the attack, informing that four suspects have been arrested in connection with the killing are a presently at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Panti.

The governor added that two survivors of that condemnable act are receiving treatment in hospital.

Sanwo-Olu assured the family of the victim that government would address the root cause of this and similar incidents, which have caused public anxiety.

The governor asked residents to remain calm as police continue to investigate the matter.

He said, “Lagos has no room for savagery and anybody found to have been involved in this barbarism will surely face the law. 

*We condemn and will not condone any kind of jungle justice, no matter who the perpetrators are.”
