Former Minister of Finance, Budget and Planning, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, has expressed gratitude to God for all that he has done for her, since she left government four years ago.
Adeosun in a post on her Facebook page copied by News Contact Online, said she took off time to pray in the outgoing week to pray, think and reset for the future.
Adeosun who is the chairperson of DashMe Foundation said she is always excited to solve people’s problems, just as she announced the intention of a Kuwait lady to support the foundation by helping in building an orphanage in Nigeria.
The former finance commissioner in Ogun State served as Nigeria’s minister of finance between November 2015 to September 2018.
She resigned after she was accused of forging the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) exemption certificate.
However, a ruling was delivered in her favour by Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja, vindicating her that Adeosun do not need to have first degree or any other certificate before she could be appointed as a minister in the country.
The post reads, “I took time off this week to pray, think and reset. It’s 4 years since I exited Government.
“I am grateful to God for all He has done. I met some incredible people roaming around the countryside including a
Kuwaiti lady who has kindly agreed to help build an orphanage through DashMe. I am always so excited to be part of the solution to peoples’ problems.”
