Harsh Economy: Ogun govt promises to offset workers' deductions with N500m monthly

The Ogun State Government has promised to commence the payment of N500m monthly to offset outstanding deductions from workers’ salaries immediately.

Governor Abiodun stated this while briefing newsmen on Wednesday at the Olusegun Osoba Press Centre, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, on the state of the country.

The governor explained that his administration is committing N5bn as interventions in the education, health, and workers’ welfare to reduce the effect of the harrowing experiences Nigerians are facing.
