Stop the Hate, Choose Progress: Why Greedy Politicians Fear Senator Yayi’s Vision for Ogun

Stop the Hate, Choose Progress: Why Greedy Politicians Fear Senator Yayi’s Vision for Ogun

Looking beyond politics and personal interests, only hatred and an anti-development mindset can make anyone doubt that the current Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Adeola Olamilekan Yayi, will perform beyond expectations if elected as the next Governor of Ogun State in 2027.
It is time for us to look beyond the question of, “What is in it for me personally?” and focus on the collective interest of Ogun State. Senator Yayi’s outstanding performance in his current position is a clear testament to his capacity and commitment to public service.
If elected governor, the long-standing prayers of the people of Ogun State will be answered through massive developmental projects in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, agriculture, and youth empowerment.
As a serving Senator, Senator Adeola Yayi has delivered projects and interventions that many would associate with an executive office.
If political and constitutional limitations did not exist, he would undoubtedly have done even more. Yet, despite those limitations, he has continued to perform excellently and leave a positive impact on the lives of the people.
The question, therefore, is this: Should a man who has been tested and proven, and whose election as governor could bring unprecedented development to Ogun State, be hated simply because of political interests? Should we listen to those who seek to discourage progress and development? These are the same individuals who once suggested turning the Gateway International Airport, a landmark project constructed under the leadership of the People’s Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, into a pig farm.
Omo Ogun, e je ka ronu o! (People of Ogun State, let us reflect.)
Senator Yayi should not be hated; he should be appreciated, supported, and encouraged for the greater development and prosperity of Ogun State.
Thank you, my name is Ola Muritala.
