Toyin Amuzu picks Abeokuta South House of Reps ticket ….promises effective legislation

Chief Toyin Amuzu has picked the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ahead of the 2023 National Assembly elections

Amuzu in a statement issued by his media office and obtained by News Contact Online was said to have defeated his co-contestants, Messer’s. Akin Sorunke and Akeem Amosun with 43 votes.

He promised to ensure effective legislation, that would genuinely improve the lives of the people and enhance development of his constituents and the Nigerian society at large. 

The PDP House of Reps candidate said he is prepared to serve and bring about a sincere change that would positively impact the people. 

While describing residents and indigenes of Abeokuta South as the “real winners”, noting that the victory belongs to God and the people.

He urged his two contenders to join him in ensuring his victory at the polls in the overall interest of the constituents, saying the exercise was a ‘no Victor, no vanquished’ party affair. 

The house of Representatives hopeful appreciated the party delegates for supporting and voting him, promising  not to betray the trust reposed in him.
