2023: GNI promises 'a new deal' development- focussed representation

The House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Yewa North/ Imeko- Afon Federal Constituency, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, has promised his the electorate ‘a new deal’ development -focussed representation at the Green Chamber if voted into office in the 2023 general elections.

GNI as fondly called in the political circle, in a letter dated 28th of September, personally signed and obtained by News Contact Online, said his intention to contest for the position was borne out of his desire to serve humanity by adding value to the society.

He noted that his past efforts to serve the people of Ogun State were not done in pursuit of self-fulfilment, but for the social and economic development of our people.

 The letter read thus, “It is with gladness of heart and a mind focused on an exciting future for us all that I write this letter; while extending my profound courtesies.

“I will be contesting to represent the good People of Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

“I like to use this medium to once again appreciate your support, goodwill, votes and diverse contributions in my electoral pursuits over the years. The roads we traversed, the mountains we conquered, the territories we charted, the misses experienced, the wins we had and the relationships we built – all mean so much to me and will remain invaluable.

 `  

“My past efforts were not done in pursuit of self-fulfilment, but for the social and economic development of our people in particular, the larger interest of Ogun State and ultimately contribute to humanity; and leave my generation better than I met it.

  

“Notwithstanding the extent to which we achieved our objectives, I have a firm believe that there are always opportunities to serve and be of value to society. The realities within our politics and that of my party, especially within our locality, necessitated my contesting for the seat under reference; submitting to the wish of leadership and the ultimate will of God.

  

“My life is an open book as my history, antecedent, pedigree, career, accomplishments and life trajectory are known to you all. In the last seventeen years, precisely since 2004, after returning from my pursuit of education and career, I have been with you; and have contributed in modest ways to the development of our people and our communities within this period.

“As we commence the campaign for this election, what I am offering my people is “A NEW DEAL for Development-Focused Representation”. My knowledge of our culture, history, environment and challenges – puts me in a position to bring to us the best that is available from Abuja. But importantly, I am determined to promote the potentials of our constituency and facilitate socioeconomic development using public and private sources; while taking up empowerment initiatives that will support our people in living a better life.

 

“Consequently, I seek your contributions, collaborations, partnerships and support – both in working with me and also voting for me in the forthcoming election; so that together we win and together we push forward the frontiers of economic growth and social development of our constituency.

“In same vein, I seek your support in ensuring that all candidates of the All progressives Congress (APC) at all levels are returned elected in the forthcoming elections.

“While anticipating your absolute cooperation, you can always be assured of my sincerity, patriotism and reverence.”
