GNI salutes Oba Aremu Gbadebo @80

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KABIYESI

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo CFR (Okukenu IV), as he celebrates the milestone age of 80.

I am particularly thrilled to identify with numerous Egba sons and daughters, and indeed Nigerians, as we all celebrate a bridge-builder, quintessential elder statesman and royal cannon on the attainment of a great landmark age in his remarkable journey of life.

In the last 18 years on the throne of his forebears, Kabiyesi has demonstrated exemplary leadership and remains a  focal point for the continued advancement, prosperity and harmony of Egbaland in particular and the nation at large.

The ideals of uncommon patriotism, courage, humility, intellectualism and sterling leadership qualities which Kabiyesi epitomizes are worthy traits that will continue to inspire many of us.

Kabiyesi, as you join the octogenarian class today, I pray that the Almighty God will continue to bless you with more wisdom and good health as you continue to promote peaceful, equitable and progressive co-existence in Egbaland, Ogun State and Nigeria at large.

Happy birthday, Kabiyesi!

Signed:
