The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Chrisland University,Abeokuta, Professor Ebenezer Olatunde Farombi, has been ranked among the world top two per cent of scientists and No 1 Toxicologist in Nigeria.
The Professor of Biochemistry and Toxicology, a distinguished scholar recognition underscored his extensive contributions to research in Biochemistry and Toxicology, particularly in the study of environmental toxins, human health, and disease prevention.
News Contact Online learnt that his scholarly work has earned international citations and recognition, placing him among the most influential researchers in his field, over years.
The ranking also listed several other distinguished scholars from the University of Ibadan, among whom are renowned Psychiatrist Oye Gureje,who was ranked first in the field of Psychiatry worldwide.
The statement obtained by News Contact Online on one of the social media handle of the University, added that the inclusion of Professor Farombi in the global ranking over the years has been widely celebrated as a testament to academic excellence and research leadership.
